Chirravuri Sri Rama Sharma’s talk on Jiva as per Purva Mimamsa

2. Chirravuri Sri Rama Sarma is one of the highly respected traditional scholars of our country. He is well known for his erudition in Purva Mimamsa Sastra and has been awarded the title “Purva Mimamsa Bhaskara”.
He has an in depth knowledge of Vedic literature.
He is proficient in many subjects like Sahita, Alankara, Chandas, Vyakarana etc.
He was former Professor of Purva Mimamsa at the Gautameeya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Rajahmundry, A.P.
He is a well known Dasaavadhaani and he exhibited his great skill before the learned traditional and modern scholars in this college campus some months ago, much to the delight of every one present during the occasion.
He is in great demand and travels to many places to participate in the Pandita Parishads including the Kanchi and Sringeri Mutts.
We are thankful to him for accepting to be with us during these two days and we request him to preside over the first session of the two day National Seminar on Tattva Traya, which will be on Nyaya-Vaisesika.
