Weekend With Wisdom: An Introduction to Narahari’s Bodhasara

‘Bodhasara’ is a text on Advaita Vedanta written by an eighteenth-century Advaitin, Narahari. The author has employed various literary devices and gives many new examples. A considerably lengthy text, ‘Bodhasara’ takes a fresh perspective on various topics of Advaita Vedanta. This text is a philosophical treatise and also a great work of poetry.


Swami Narasimhananda


Swami Narasimhananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1897 and its presently the Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kozhikode, Kerala and rings a higher secondary school, a kindergarten, and a polyclinic. He is a former editor of Prabuddha Bharata an English monthly journal of the humanities and social sciences started by Swami Vivekananda in 1896. He specialises in Indian Studies, Indian Philosophy, Sociology of Religion, Philosophy of Religion, Religious Studies, and Translation Studies. He writes in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Malayalam, Bengali, and Tamil.
