Worship of ignorance leads to blinding darkness whereas those who revel in knowledge enter a greater darkness as it were. Mantra 10 clarifies that the results of Vidya & Avidya are distinct and different. Proper practice of spiritual disciplines like Karma, Bhakti & Jnana leads a practitioner in the path of evolution culminating in Self-Realization. Mantra 11 advises one to know vidya & avidya together. By the former he crosses death and by the latter he gains immortality.

The master attributes this invaluable knowledge to the Guru Parampara, which shows his humility.
