Ishavasya Upanishad – 11 by L Ramaswamy

State of Self-Realization is beyond our intellectual conception. It eludes our grasp even as the great masters try to convey the nature of Infinite. Mantras 15 & 16 dramatize the experience of Self-Realization in three stages.

Sun God, symbolized as the Supreme Self, is covered by a golden disc. The seeker who has completed all his Sadhana now commands Sun to remove the covering. The subsequent dazzle that overwhelms the seeker is indicative of the Infinite experience. Upon Realization is the ultimate declaration “He am I”.
