Sun God, symbolic of the Supreme Reality is glorified by various names such as nourisher, controller, acquirer etc. Sun is primarily responsible for all activities in the world; yet remains detached from everything as a disinterested witness. Similar is the nature of real Self.

Mantra 17 indicates the final will of the Enlightened soul before he attains Mahasamadhi. All the matter vestures that he was possessing hitherto are merged back into the original source of nascent elements. Life of a Jivanmukta post realization is explained by the concept of Prarabdha Vasanas.
