Vedantic Practice 26 PART 1 – BEING together while living by Bede Clifford

Swami Dayananda says that we are only living when we are alive to facts. To be alive to facts requires that there is not a split between ourselves as a thinker and ourselves as a doer. Mostly when we are doing something our mind is somewhere else. We are not present while doing what we are doing. We are doing one thing and thinking something else. It is not possible to appreciate ourselves as whole and alive to facts in this in this condition of being split.

Bede Clifford is a disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati & Swamini Atmaprakashananda. His interests are philosophy, sociology, psychology, comparative religion and Traditional Vedanta
